I will always remember pulling out photo albums from the big bookcase in the hallway of my parents house. Black and white photos of relatives I never knew, my parents in 70’s outfits, retro wallpaper, beach holidays before I existed, those awkward posed wedding photos from the 80s (you know the ones I'm talking about). And then there was us- babies, toddlers, children. A few snapshots of our world as it was developed from film. Photos of people we’ve loved and been loved by. Homes once lived in and familiar faces in a time before we knew them
Photography isn’t only a way of capturing our own memories, it is a gift to our children and grandchildren in the future. A chance to glimpse into a world they were part of before their memories began. To see us as we are now, to know us as the people we were before them

The sweet, hazy newborn stage is so very fleeting. My in-home newborn photo sessions are designed to be as relaxing & natural as possible. Take away the stress of packing a thousand things and rushing out to the studio. You don’t even need to tidy the house, or get dressed up. I want to capture your perfect little world just as it is in the space that is special to you. I’ll give you some gentle guidance, move things around if I need to and work quietly to create beautiful, relaxed images. If you prefer I can visit you in the hospital or at home to capture the delicious moments of baby's first couple of days

First things first - I'm not your traditional family photographer and also not the cheapest you'll find. I am forever growing as an artist and put my whole heart into what I do. This is more than a job, it is part of my life's purpose. This is an investment and one that comes with many years of experience working with babies, children and, of course families to create meaningful imagery. Deposit
Once you have reached out we can lock in your preferred session and date, all I require is a $100 deposit and you're all booked in
Details
Once we have locked in your session with a deposit we can start planning together . Curating your session is a super important part of the process and allows us to capture those raw, real moments. We can chat about location, wardrobe (I'm more than happy to help, if you'd like guidance) plus we can also throw around some ideas about things that you might like to capture within your session
Your moments
You have your session with me either at home or at a location that you love. My aim is for relaxed and fun session, like old friends hanging out
Your gallery
After your session is complete I will send you a handful of 'sneak peak ' images within a couple of days. Your full gallery will be ready for you within 2-6 weeks of the session, depending on my current workload
