I will always remember pulling out photo albums from the big bookcase in the hallway of my parents house. Black and white photos of relatives I never knew, my parents in 70’s outfits, retro wallpaper, beach holidays before I existed, those awkward posed wedding photos from the 80s (you know the ones I'm talking about). And then there was us- babies, toddlers, children. A few snapshots of our world as it was developed from film. Photos of people we’ve loved and been loved by. Homes once lived in and familiar faces in a time before we knew them
Photography isn’t only a way of capturing our own memories, it is a gift to our children and grandchildren in the future. A chance to glimpse into a world they were part of before their memories began. To see us as we are now, to know us as the people we were before them

I pride myself on creating a space in which you / your family can be yourselves, so we can capture not just photos, but feelings. My hope is that you can look back at your photos in years to come and really feel the moment through the photo, that you will love them because you loved being yourself. We begin our session by getting to know each other and chatting about your visions for our time together, the rest of the session is then lead by you and what feels authentic. If you feel nervous about having your photo taken- that's totally normal. I can guide you until you feel natural, I got you! Lets capture some moments that you will cherish for a lifetime
